Homemade Makeup Brush Cleaner | How Do You Clean Makeup Brushes

Oils and bacteria trapped in the bristles of the brushes, causing bacteria to grow. The accumulation of product and the bacteria also makes the makeup go bad and spreads the bacteria on the skin. Wash brushes with natural bristles once a month, and synthetic brushes (often used for shading correction or cream) three to four times a month.

To clean brushes, I suggest using a mild soap or better yet, a mild baby shampoo. There are many brush cleaners on the market, but why not use what you already have at home. Place a small drop of pea-sized shampoo in the palm of your hand, wet brush and swirl the brush in hand to remove makeup. Rinse and repeat three or four times if necessary for the accumulation of heavy. Lay the brushes flat to dry so that the bristles do not break and to maintain the shape of the brushes. Never go out and enjoy the brushes in water, as this will cause the bristles to fall.

So there next time you see that beautiful hair foundation brush goats and yell at the price of $ 60, think twice because this brush will last forever if you know how to take care of it.
